Cleansing Fountain
Done in collaboration with the FRIENDS of the Blue Ridge Parkway, Inc., this latest instrumental album features new interpretations of old Appalachian folk hymn tunes of the Blue Ridge on hammered dulcimer and mountain dulcimer, with flutes, whistles, guitar, fiddle, banjo, dobro, mandolin, psaltery, harmonica, melodica, jaw harp, autoharp, and more! Timothy Seaman is joined on several tracks by Bill Gurley, Josh Thompson, Peter Budnikas, Henry Smith, and Rowena Seaman, and several places are quietly accented with newly recorded nature sounds.
